The Problem: Albright Fashion Library needed to remind young fashion stylists of their legacy, and their services.

The Project: The Unveiling of their new Beverly Hills Flagship with a Next Generation Dinner event.

The Reward: Brand awareness in front of a younger targeted audience of fashion stylists in the Los Angeles area, and of course great press: Vogue, Elle, Tatler, WWD, ExtraTV

The Albright Fashion Library unveiled its new LA headquarters with a media & influencer dinner celebrating the next generation of young fashion stylists breaking new ground in the Los Angeles Fashion Community. The evening was hosted by CEO & Founder Irene Albright, Couture Designer Ronald van der Kemp and Celebrity Stylist Karla Welch.

Guests mixed and mingled with a seated dinner overlooking Los Angeles from the new Beverly Hills location while sipping specialty cocktails by Casa Noble, champagne by Perrier Jouet, and a dessert toast by Ladureé. Albright Fashion Library was able to get in front of a new demographic sharing their heritage, unveiling their new LA-based home, and bringing a revamp to their organization.

AFL Beverly Hills is filled with thousands of designer dresses, shoes, and accessories available for loan. It’s an essential resource for stylists, celebrities and the fashion savvy. Founder and former stylist Irene Albright opened her New York showroom in 1990. The library is made up of Irene’s personal collection who has amassed more than 7,000 of the most sought-after archive fashion pieces in history, dating back to Halston and Gaultier designs from the Seventies, when she first started her career.

‘In New York we specialise in working for top editors and advertising agencies; in LA it’s much more celebrity-orientated and we mostly just have evening clothes,’ says Albright. ‘LA has a very different style to New York. It is not understated. At all.’ The library also spends around $2 million per year on new pieces to add to their collection, featuring everything from Alexandre Vauthier (a particular favourite in LA) and Saint Laurent to Delpozo via Oscar de la Renta. ‘We buy like a department store and spend at least 25,000 euros per collection,’ says Albright. When you book in for an appointment here, you’re not just getting the chance to peruse the rails - you’re also getting a stylist thrown in.
