Chloé and luxury E-tailier Net-a-Porter teamed up to celebrate their 6th collaboration, a 26-piece "see now buy now" capsule collection made up of summer must-haves including printed dresses, strappy sandals, summer bags, bold jewelry, and sunglasses. To celebrate the launch, PMA produced a Bohemian themed garden party inspired by Ibiza transforming Sousa House New York into a beachy, island-eque, and tranquil setting. The launch was accompanied by live performances by the very-Chloe Girl Fox Sinclair and grass-roots laid back trio City of the Sun and tunes by notable DJ Vashtie Kola. Guests were surrounded by lush exotic foliage, enjoyed craft cocktails and nibbles by celebrity chef Camille Becerra while browsing the new collection.
Some of fashion’s elite attended the event including it-girl Olivia Palermo and model Hilary Rhoda, who mingled on the back patio and gushed about the collection. Palermo told WWD that the collection is “very Greek inspired.” Net-a-Porter’s president Allison Loehnis, revealed the collection also re-addressed who the Chloe woman is. “We thought, well actually where is this Chloé woman? She spends her summers in Ibiza and it really evokes the both feminine but also bohemian roots of the brand,” she said.
